The southern region of Shiselweni is filled with anticipation and pride as it prepares to host the nation’s most anticipated royal celebration, the 57th birthday of His Majesty King Mswati III.

The festivities, which will take place this Friday at King Sobhuza II Stadium, are set to welcome dignitaries, emaSwati, and guests from across the globe.

Recently, Prime Minister Russell Dlamini visited the stadium to witness the final rehearsals of the commemoration.

The Prime Minister lauded the organizers and participants for their dedication and expressed his confidence in the region’s readiness.

He stated that the preparations are truly impressive, and he is proud of the level of commitment shown. Dlamini further extended warm wishes to His Majesty and the entire nation for a joyful and successful celebration.

His Majesty King Mswati III, who ascended the throne on April 25, 1986, at the tender age of 18, has become a pillar of stability, vision, and cultural pride for Eswatini.

His reign, now spanning nearly four decades, has been marked by a steady commitment to national development, peace, and the preservation of Swati traditions.

The King has consistently promoted the importance of education as the cornerstone of development, with his government expanding access to education through various programs including the Free Primary Education initiative and the strengthening of tertiary institutions.

Under His Majesty’s leadership, Eswatini has made notable strides in diversifying its economy.

From agriculture and manufacturing to ICT and tourism, the country continues to attract investment and promote innovation, guided by the King’s call for economic resilience and self-sufficiency.
