Nsingizini snatch two ‘Bucs’ stars

CAF Champions League envoys Nsingizini Hotspurs have made their first two signings of the new campaign in two Moneni Pirates players, Innocent Pakule and Mthobisi Zwane.

The two players are set to form part of the Mandla Qhogi squad to represent the country in the prestigious CAF interclub competition in September.

The Shiselweni-based side sealed their continental ticket by defending the 2025/26 MTN Premier League title.

Pirates confirmed the departure of the two players and their new club.

The ‘Sea Robbers’ wished the players the best of luck and thanked them for their services to the black and white ensemble.

The two players reached the finals of the 2025 SMVAF Ingwenyama Cup with their former side(Pirates) under the guidance of Caleb Ngwenya.

Nsingizini Chief Executive Officer Banele Ngobe could not be reached for comment on the matter when compiling this report.

The duo is expected to make their Nsingizini debut on July 18, 2026, during the annual Prince Mangosuthu Cup in Ulundi.

The Eswatini domestic treble kings will take on Ulundi United, Siwelele FC and Amazulu in the annual one-day tournament.

Nsingizini recently transferred its two key players, Thubelihle Mavuso and Yekisizwe Khumalo, to Hardrock FC.

The former National Under-23 duo left the Hluthi-based side for Zimbabwe about a month ago to join the likes of Neliswa ‘Tiger’ Dlamini, Sambulo ‘Masoso’ Simelane(both Hardrock FC and Kwakhe Tfwala (Scotland FC).
