Newly signed Young Buffaloes striker Njabulo Maizya has been named in the 27-member provisional national team, Sihlangu squad.
The players are expected to attend training sessions on Mondays and Tuesdays in preparation for the back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Cape Verde next month.
Maziya, one goal behind the league’s leading goal-scorer, Mbabane Swallows talisman Felix ‘Fela’ Badenhorst who has eleven goals, was last week signed by Young Buffaloes from Madlenya FC.
Also in the provisional squad is impressive Nsingizini Hotspurs youngster Thubelihle Mavuso and Bongiswa Dlamini who have both got an upgrade from the National Uder-23 squad.
In a shocking move, in-form Mbabane Highlanders strong defender, Peter Dlamini, and goalkeepers, Khanyakwezwe Shabalala and Ncamiso ‘Mbhonyo’ Dlamini have been dropped from the provisional squad.
