Acting Prime Minister praises King Mswati’s wisdom, counsel

Acting Prime Minister Themba Nhlanganiso Masuku has praised His Majesty King Mswati III’s wisdom and wise counsel on issues to be dealt with at the Parliament level.

He said this during the reception in celebration of the opening of Parliament on Friday. He further heaped praises at the Speech from the Throne, saying that it was profound and touched on all aspects of societal issues.

“Your Majesty, I am certain that I will articulate the sentiments of all those present to witness the Speech from the Throne when I say it is always gratifying and refreshing to be in the presence of Their Majesties. Especially to receive wisdom and counsel on how to proceed with vital issues that turn around the Kingdom of Eswatini, making it a better place for all emaSwati to live in,” stated Masuku.

He further expressed how they were now eagerly looking forward to meaningfully participating in the upcoming national elections. The Acting PM was representing Prime Minister Cleopas Sipho Dlamini, who is currently in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to participate in the annual African Union (AU) summit.

The PM is accompanied by Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Thuli Dladla, among others.
