Bring your Vuvuzelas and look the part for your clubs.
This is the message sent through to all supporters of local football ahead of the MTN Premier League 2026/27 season.
Sponsor MTN Eswatini, via the voices of the giant mobile phone company Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jerry Soko and Meshack Maseko, appealed for a violence-free stadium environment.

“Bring your passion, your vuvuzelas and spirit of the game. We call and pray for no violence but fans who will be excited and accept all results,” said Maseko.
Soko said football was a sport that should unite people and bring excitement as opposed to violence in the stadium. A total E7.5 million package for this season was then announced by the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Chairman Polycarp Dlamini.

“This is not a joke but huge money. It’s E7.5 million,” said Dlamini.
He said this was the money clubs will be battling for as of this Saturday. Dlamini also encouraged teams to make their task to educate supporters about the MTN FanBox benefits and stadium conduct to avoid violence scenes.

Some of the clubs, particularly the grand opening teams being Mbabane Highlanders who play Green Mamba, as well as Moneni Pirates who start against defending champions Nsingizini Hotspurs.
