Mbabane Swallows head coach Caleb Ngwenya’s future looks uncertain in the team. A source close to the matter revealed the veteran mentor was unhappy with the team following their loss in the MoMo Cup final against Nsingizini Hotspurs on Sunday at Mavuso Sports Centre.
“The coach is displeased with interference from some top officials, and he feels undermined by their actions. He will table report before the end of the week where he will also pour his heart before the entire MC over the actions of officials. He is also expected to state what his future holds with the team,” the source said.
Swallows Public Relations Officer (PRO) Knowledge Ngwenya distanced himself from the matter when contacted. “I am unaware that the coach is no longer happy in the team. You can get more answers from him even though we are still to review reports from the recent tournament as per norm,” he said.

The former Green Mamba and Vovovo FC coach could not be reached for comment at the time of compiling this report. The former Sihlangu assistant coach has already led the ‘Beautiful Birds’ to two domestic cup finals including the revived Trade Fair Cup, which he has both lost.
He earlier guided ‘Umkhonto Ka-Shaka’ to the inaugural Hospice at Home Cup success where they managed to beat Nsingizini Hotspurs.
He also led the crowd pullers to the Africa Day celebration success and a semi-final finish in the Prince Mangosuthu Legacy Cup which were both held in Kwa-Zulu Natal,
South Africa.
