The revolving coaching door at Mbabane Highlanders is in full swing again.

With Mbabane Highlanders supporters calling for the sacking head coach Dumisani ‘Du’ Makhanya, the Capital City giants are already lining up former Denver Sundowns coach Milton Dlamini as his replacement.

The supporters made the call to sack Makhanya during the supporter’s meeting held at CODEC Hall on Sunday.

The supporters questioned Makhanya’s tactics and urged the management committee to relieve him of his duties.

The former Sitsebe head mentor has been under fire since the club’s exit in the SMVAF Ingwenyama Cup semifinals to rivals Mbabane Swallows.

Makhanya is on his third stint with the black and ensemble and he once served as an assistant to the late Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati.

Highlanders Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Musa Masuku said the team was on the verge of enlisting the services of former Denver Sundowns coach Milton Dlamini.

“We are currently in talks with Milton Dlamini and he has agreed to come on board. We are now finalising some few loose ends so that he start drilling the team,” he said.

Meanwhile, former Baroka FC Coach Milton Dlamini also confirmed the capital city giants’ interest.

“I have had talks with Highlanders and I am now waiting for them to present a concrete offer,” he said.

Kgomongwe previously stated that they were considering releasing their current head coach following the humiliating exit in the richest knockout tournament.
