The founder of Good News Mission of Korea, Reverend Dr. Ock Sook Park, on Wednesday paid a courtesy call to His Majesty the King.

The reverend has on several occasions met the King in Eswatini as this was the ninth official meeting between them. Dr. Park’s wife also paid a visit to Inkhosikati LaNgangaza.

The mission’s choir treated the King and Inkhosikati to a SiSwati rendition of two gospel songs, which were well appreciated.

The mission has been working in Eswatini for about 10 years now, and it has established the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) Centre at Two Sticks in Manzini.



It is involved in various youth development programmes, including mind education and leadership training, which have been conducted at various levels of government, including the Cabinet and members of Parliament.

In an interview after the meeting, the Director of the IYF Centre, Pastor David Gang, explained that the centre is currently training about 70 emaSwati in vocational training skills, mind education, graduate trainee internships,

agriculture, and other youth programmes. More than 1,000 youth have benefited from this initiative.

“We have also sent 13 emaSwati to Korea for the international internship program. 10 of them have returned, while three remain in Korea as vocational training interns,” he said.

Pasto Gang mentioned that the mission received 10 hectares of land at Two Sticks in Manzini to develop a youth and church centre.
