On Monday, Clerk to Parliament, Benedict Xaba, expressed Parliament’s deep appreciation for the diligent efforts of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in upholding transparency and accountability in upholding its mandate.

PAC is a committee comprised of Members of Parliament, that plays a vital role in scrutinizing the financial activities of government ministries, ensuring that public funds are utilized efficiently.

“With its mandate to examine public expenditure, PAC is a crucial mechanism for holding government officials accountable for their financial decisions.
