Close to E300 000 for Instacash Shiselweni FA Cup

Eswatini’s growing Fintech company Instacash continued to contribute towards the development of football in the country.

The company has pumped in E297 000 towards the 2024 Instacsh Shiselweni Regional Football Association FA Cup.

The 2024 package has been increased by E137 000 compared to the first sponsorship of E160 000.

Instacash Managing Director Mandla ‘Cheeks’ Nxumalo said they were happy with the partnership with the regional association during a launch held on Saturday at King Sobhuza II Stadium Hall.

“We are committed to developing football in the Shiselweni region hence have increased the sponsorship by over E100 000. We are confident that the sponsorship will help to unearth future football stars for the country,” he said.

Meanwhile, Shiselweni Regional Football Association (SRFA) Chairman Nkhosinathi Kunene thanked the sponsor for the kind gesture.

“We are grateful for the continued support of the sport towards the region and such support will take the standard of the sport to the next level. We urge teams to support the sponsor and further refrain from violence,” he said.

EFA Marketing and Communications Officer Muzi Radebe appreciated the support of the sponsor.
“We are happy with the good work that has been done to develop football in the country which has contributed towards immersing growth of the sport in the region,” he said.

Instacash recently pumped in E231 000 for the Hhohho region FA cup and they will soon launch sponsorship with the Manzini Regional Football Association (MRFA) and Lubombo Regional Football Association (LRFA) respectively.

The company also sponsors the school’s tournament under the auspices of the Eswatini Schools Sports Association which started in 2023.

Manzini Central High School are the reigning champions of the second annual school tournament.
