His Majesty the King has called on emaSwati to capitalize on the opportunities presented by the newly completed high-quality road connecting Nhlangano, Gege, and Sicunusa.

His Majesty emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship in stimulating economic growth and called on residents to open filling stations, business centres, and other enterprises along the route.

He urged emaSwati to act quickly, assuring them that they would be assisted with necessary lease agreements and King’s Consent letters to support their ventures.

“This development is not the end but marks the beginning of more and new firms and capital property development such as malls, petrol filling stations that must come up in this corridor as a result of this new road,” the King stated.

He stressed that the new infrastructure must be fully utilized to drive economic expansion and create sustainable business opportunities that benefit not only the local communities but the entire nation.

The construction of the Nhlangano, Gege and Sicunusa roads provides a major boost to the country’s infrastructure, offering a strategic link between the Shiselweni, Manzini, and Hhohho regions.

His Majesty highlighted the economic impact of this development, noting how the road enhances the connectivity between towns and opens up new trade and investment prospects in the Shiselweni region.

“True to the architecture and purposeful engineering, the Nhlangano, Gege, Sicunusa road provides a major economic network connection between the Shiselweni, Manzini, and Hhohho regions,” the King explained.

He further elaborated that the road corridor, which extends from Nhlangano to Manzini, Matsapha, and Mbabane, will not only facilitate easier movement for emaSwati between these towns but will also serve as a vital artery for trade.

His Majesty pointed out that the road network strengthens the country’s commitment to making business easier and more accessible.

“We believe that this road network has given meaning to our motto of making the ease of doing business attainable. Easy access means improved turnaround times for our small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) and our large companies between the Shiselweni region and our major cities,” he said.

This newfound accessibility, he explained, would greatly benefit manufacturers in the Nhlangano area, allowing them to efficiently transport products to other parts of the country, thereby increasing their market reach and competitiveness.

The King further expressed the long-term vision for the Shiselweni region, highlighting the transformative potential of the new road.

He stressed that the infrastructure was not just a tool for personal convenience, but a foundation for economic progress that must be fully leveraged by entrepreneurs and investors alike.
