Popular South African duo Blaq Diamond has apologised for their absence at a highly anticipated performance in Eswatini.

The show, which was set to take place at Ehawini Lifestyle on February 1, 2025, was met with disappointment as the artists encountered unforeseen circumstances that prevented them from making the trip.

In a statement released on their social media platforms, Blaq Diamond expressed their regret, stating, “To our supporters from Eswatini and Ehawini Lifestyle, due to circumstances out of our control, we were unable to make it to Swaziland for the event scheduled at Ehawini Lifestyle.”

The duo went on to explain that while travelling from Johannesburg, they faced significant vehicle problems that led to delays in their journey.

“We encountered problems with our vehicle while en route to Eswatini,” they elaborated. “We then got delayed and as a result, we could not make it on time for our commitments last night.”
