Get ready, Eswatini! The soulful sounds of South African vocalist Thulile Zama are set to grace the stage at Luxy Gardens, Corner Plaza, in Lobamba.

Scheduled for Thursday, March 13, 2025, this highly anticipated concert will be a night to remember, as Zama brings her unique blend of jazz, Afro-soul, and neo-soul to the heart of Eswatini.

With an entry fee of E400, which includes a meal (excluding drinks), attendees can look forward to an evening filled with captivating music and a vibrant atmosphere.

This concert is part of Zama’s upcoming 2025 tour, which will take her through Eswatini and the Eastern Cape, made possible through the generous funding support from the South African National Treasury’s Jobs Fund and the Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) as part of the Festival Enterprise Catalyst (FEC) initiative.

Zama’s return to Eswatini holds a special place in her heart, as she fondly recalls her first experience in the country back in 2013.

During that memorable visit, she was supported by the SAMRO Foundation and the British Council, performing with her all-female jazz band, Heels Over Head, as part of a three-day promotional tour.

The tour also featured hip hop artists Abdus and Manelis, alongside the DJ duo The Nutscratchers, creating a diverse musical experience for audiences.

Reflecting on her initial trip, Zama expressed her gratitude and excitement about returning. “I hold my first trip to Eswatini close to my heart.

The audience was incredibly welcoming and gave me the kind of energy that only the people of Eswatini can offer. I’m thrilled to return and share my journey with them,” she shared, highlighting the warmth and enthusiasm of the local fans.

The upcoming performance at Luxy Gardens is set to be an unforgettable evening for music lovers, as Zama will showcase a wide repertoire of songs from her latest album,

Sisingathiwe by N’den’ This album beautifully blends various musical genres, reflecting Zama’s remarkable vocal abilities and the emotional depth she brings to her music.

Fans can expect to hear a mix of her latest hits, as well as beloved tracks from her Heels Over Head project, along with a few favourite covers that will delight the audience.

Joining Thulile Zama on stage will be an impressive lineup of talented musicians, including Sphe Mngwengwe on keys, Senzo Mdamba on bass, and Mwesigwa Kisaakye on drums.

Together, they will create an electrifying atmosphere, ensuring that the audience is treated to an exceptional live music experience.
