Touching base with Zolile Motsa formerly known as 80 Script about his hit-song Yaya, he mentioned that it had by far, served as an anthem in appreciation of Women. Vast videos on different social media pages have been spotted of Women, and Children singing along to the hit. To no surprise, Men have also joined in the Yaya movement since the whole theme around the song ‘Yaya’ was basically, showing off the natural beauty and acknowledging being comfortable in your own skin, an inspirational song just to add.
80 Script went on to announce that he would be performing in Gauteng at the FNB Stadium this coming Saturday alongside, DJ Simtronic, DJ Fresh, Lady Zamar, Sho Madjozi, Thee Gobbs and many more. 80 Script went onto to say, “I am ecstatic really and hope people come in numbers to hear Yaya being performed live for the first time in South Africa and also for those who will not be able to attend the show, live videos on Instagram and Facebook will be uploaded on my pages. Yaya serves as a spaceship liftoff, moving me closer in the right direction in the Music industry in South Africa.”
Having suffered a drastic turn in his music career where things were slow in progress, the rapper took time off the limelight on a soul-searching and meditation quest. During this time, he became closely acquainted with ‘Turn up Yangempela” hitmaker DJ Simtronic from South Africa which led to the release of Yaya which also features Una Rams and all other progressions up-to-date. They’ve since then, joined in partnership to produce authentic epic music, influencing 80 Script’s upcoming album consisting of 20 tracks to be released sometime this year.
The rapper’s peace was quickly put asunder last Saturday when the Yaya hit-maker found himself being defamed on numeral social media posts made by the Cheese over Bontjies rapper about 80 Script being a crook. Having kept the peace between the two, 80 Script decided that he would rectify all false allegations made against him. The rapper has since then set records straight as he took up to Social Media last Sunday against the appalling Media rant that was initiated by local rapper Illa Penboy. He stated that as far as he was concerned Illa Penboy had been very disrespectful and that this has tainted their relationship in the industry. He also made it clear that they were not friends with the rapper and hoped that this was a lesson for the Cheeses over Bontjies hit-maker for the future.
