Just to cut the story short, a page known as Eswatini Hip Hop Magazine on facebook yesterday published their 2019 Eswatini Top 10 Richest Rappers and on number 08 of the list we saw Kena’s name appearing with a caption shown below;
08.Kena – Last year he managed to do the “Litsemba Lemaginsa” tour. He dropped an album,he performed at Hipnotik and he also headlined other shows.He just started building his own house.He is a rapper and a businessman, he is also selling bevarages in his neighborhood. He has a net worth of E20 000.
According to Kena’s management team, they are just as surprised as their fans and the general public by the list. “Although we do appreciate recognition and coverage by the media for the hard work KENA puts in (in the spotlight and behind the scenes).” said Steven Ndwandwe during the interview we had with him.
KENA condemns in the strongest sense the publishing of false and un-researched and unconfirmed information as this is misleading to his fans, supporters and well as current and future business partners and interests. He was not contacted by who so ever made the list to confirm information before it was made public, said Ndwandwe.
Although some of the information which was in the public domain is true regarding his career is true. He did drop an amazing album, if you don’t have it yet, buy it ASAP… He did Headline his own tour to promote the album (self sponsored). HE DOES NOT SELL BEVERAGES IN HIS NEIGHBORHOOD. He is an artist, not a sheeben king. This false accusation and defermention of character he does not take too kindly to.
