Shiselweni II Inkhundla donates 5000 masks for schools

In efforts to combat the persistent Corona Virus (CoVid-19), Shiselweni II Inkhundla has donated 5000 masks to 24 schools within the constituency.

Led by their Member of Parliament, Strydom Mpanza, they made this donation last Tuesday at a brief event that was held at the constituency offices in Mbangweni. This was courtesy of support from local garments factory, FTM Garments.

Mpanza stated that Shiselweni II was geared up to make a meaningful contribution to the fight against this dreadful pandemic which has grounded the world over. He said they had no doubt as Inkhundla that this gesture will go a long way in advancing the protection of all the different people that make up a school set up, be it a teacher, pupil, and/or auxiliary staff.
The schools that benefited included both primary and high schools namely, Evelyn Baring, Nhlangano Central, Madulini, Edulini, Dwaleni, Tjedze, Mkhondvo, but to name a few.

The legislator thanked his Council and Chiefdoms for the role they played in making this kind gesture a success. He further appreciated FTM Garments for their contribution as they are sponsored the Inkhundla with the masks.
