Women’s Coalition of Eswatini Urges Government to Prevent Further Political Unrest

The women’s Coalition of Eswatini/ Liphimbo LaboMake has issued a statement on the current crisis in the country. The group is highly concerned about the situation especially how the government is handling the issue.

They recommend that the government of Eswatini should prevent dangerous political unrest developments through non- violent means including pro-active communication aiming at de-escalation, reconciliation, meaningful dialogue and peaceful exercise of civil and political rights.

Liphimbo Labomake urged the government to refrain from any unwanted violence, coercion and divisiveness. They urged government to prioritise and engage Emaswati in a dialogue, in the common interest of all.
