Mimzkhulu Tops the Charts for 3 weeks

Mimzkhulu is a Gospel rap artist who is also new in the genre but not new in the music industry as he was first introduced as Mimz before with the Prodigal Sonz.
He recently thrilled fun during the biggest braai with an energetic and lively performance on the 22nd of July 2018. As we watch him grow as a solo artist his first single titled ‘Kneel down’ has been on top of the charts for the past three weeks now on the number one spot. Kneel down was initially released as his second single after Nasusindzile feat Mvilas.
The song features the talented star Floewe who blends so well with the ‘new’ Gospel rapper Mimzkhulu. “It was a definite hit just when we hit the studio. We had so much fun in while creating the single and we really appreciate the way the public has received this song.”Said Mimzkhulu
The track was Recorded at Eardrums studios produced by Mvilas of Chakalaka fame who made sure it has a groovy feel. The catchy hook gets everyone singing along on the first chorus. “We recently performed the song in the outskirts straight bundus. I was surprised later that evening when I got a call from one of the locals.”Said Mimzkhulu during the interview
A child who had never heard the song before was humming the chorus. The song is about an emphasis on the importance of prayer and appreciating every moment because its a blessing.
The artist added and said; they are loving the reception so far and they had the first part of kneel down challenge and people were sending videos of themselves trying to do or sing the song. The artist also told us that they are going to have their second and third part of the challenge which will be very interesting.
We encourage everyone to stay on the page Mimzkhulu on facebook where all the fun and updates will be about the upcoming EP.
