Umlilo Music Officially Launched The Crossover event

With only a few days left of 2018, almost everyone is in a hurry to decide the best way to cross over into the new year. While some people are concerned about which song to play at midnight others are still unsure where to go. If you are one of those worry not because Mduduzi Gawzela Simelane has once again announced the annual crossover event held at the Trade fair centre.

While the line-up itself is on fire it is the other developments that should have party-goers excited. Gawzela announced that instead of the usual 6 to 6 event that fun-lovers are accustomed to the 8th annual event would instead start at noon and last all night till 6 the next morning giving everyone 18 hours of crossover magic to look forward to.

Since the event is meant to be for every member of the family Gawuzela mentioned that there would be entertainment for the children, food stalls for the adults and a variety of activities during the praise and worship known to take place. Minister of Sports arts and culture, Harris Madze Bulunga, who attended the event was pleased that as usual some of the money generated by the event would be cultivated back into society through the events charity initiatives. Bulunga was also quick to note that children who attend the event will grow up having the attendance be their new year’s culture which is admirable considering that the main focus of the event has never been about the government but about the public who are the backbone of the country.

And how much can one expect to pay for 18 hours of enjoyment? A mere E50 will be required to get you full access to the event which will feature the likes of Gawzela, the Tshwane Gospel Choir, Tina Zungu, Big Fish Makhabela, Sipho Makhabane, Mpumalanga Praise and many other fun acts both local and international. Tickets are already on sale so there is no time to waste.
