House on Fire,organizers of Africa’s biggest music festival; MTN Bushfire have started refunding tickets bought for the 2020 event.
The annual event was cancelled this year due to the current pandemic of Covid-19.

The 13th MTN Bushfire 2020 physical tickets refunds started on Friday; 22 May 2020 at the House on Fire office in Malkerns, Eswatini under strict adherance to Covid-19 healthy and safety practices.

“All physical tickets bought in Eswatini will be processed at House on Fire. Ticket holders who are able to attend the 14th edition of the MTN Bushfire festival on 28 to 31st 2021 are reminded that their tickets bought for 2020 are automatically valid for 2021 festival. The MTN Bushfire team is hard at work to put together an even more explosive festival next year, so those tickets will be worth it” explained the organizers in a statement.

To process the ticket refund; one must fill out a refund request at a link available at the organizers website and social media accounts. They must then return all physical tickets they want refunds for to House on Fire carrying their ID or passport.

“Refunds will not be issued on copies of tickets. With all the details we will then process your refund within 7 to 14 working days” explained the organizers.

The MTN Bushfire Festival brings about some of Africa’s and international best artists performing in an intimate and socially responsible festival. It has been dubbed as Top African Festival by the British Broadcasting Cooperation (BBC).

Each year over 20,000 people from the global community “bring their fire” to Malkerns Valley to experience an international line-up of live music, theatre, poetry, film, circus, dance and visual arts. A vibrant handcraft market, family-friendly performances & KidZone as well as the recently introduced interactive art and dialogue space, The Barn, combine to create a magically eclectic three day entertainment experience.
