The Luke Commission has rejected allegations of exclusion of patients directed to the facility. The health facility issued and immediate statement after allegations of discrimination flooded social media platforms alleging that some members of the public were chased at The Luke Commission and denied treatment.

The TLC says that all clients are welcomed at their site without discrimination. TLC does not discriminate against anyone based on their gender, age, race, skin color, religion, sexual orientation, social or economic standing, political affiliation, occupation, disability or any other set of differences. Every person is welcome and every person will be treated equally.

Rodger Mamba communications Officer of TLC says in an interview, it is very unfortunate that such disturbing information is being disseminated on social media platforms about TLC without confirmation from them. “The Luke Commission like all other health facilities follow the highest standard of medical rules and protocols, that every patient coming into the facility need to abide by for them to get the necessary treatment first. Without proper assessment we cannot by any chance offer medication to patients, it is against the health rule”.

The Luke Commission operates 24 hours throughout the week. It is one of the best facilities in the country that treats, diagnose and dispense medication to patients.
