By Bahle Gama

DJ Zinhle and Mvzzle have dropped their latest single ahead of the festive season. The Duo brought us Umlilo in 2021 which ended up being contender for song of the year. They are hoping for history to repeat itself.

This time around, they are awakening emotions of party goers. Their latest single ‘Ngisimamise’ is intended to give hope to listeners. This follows after the duo created their hit single Umlilo after meeting on the set of SABC’s 1s and 2s, a DJ talent show. DJ Zinhle says the newly released track Ngisimamise means ‘Lift me up’, which is her way of reminding her listeners of the promise from God as they took the song to different environments and switched it up according to the reception at different places until they finally got the perfect sound.

She stated that having a lot of ideas in her head and working with Mvzzle has given her so much confidence because he believes in her ideas and can translate them into music.

“We work very well together, he has his strengths in the studio, and I have mine. We always find a middle ground,” said DJ Zinhle.

The song reportedly also features Sindi Nkosazana who is a multi-talented vocalist and songwriter who was introduced by Mvzzle to DJ Zinhle who knew immediately that she wanted to work with her.

DJ Zinhle describes Sindi Nkosazana as “super talented and her energy is amazing”.

Ngisimamise is a song of hope, which is always the essence of DJ Zinhle’s music and loves releasing music that inspires her Listeners. When these artists decided to release the song, they said they felt how special it was and how it makes people feel. The inspiration has always been hope and when they felt that it is what the song gives people, they released it.

The song is expected to be a dance floor banger that brings people to tears. Maybe the trio should consider dropping a full album.
