NHLANGANO – Revenge is a dish best served cold and struggling Nsingizini Hotspurs, without a win in eight games, were dining on thin ice after a fifth defeat of the season on Saturday at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium.
Mbabane Swallows talisman Felix ‘Fela’ Badenhorst scored his 12th goal of the season as the ‘Beautiful Birds’ strolled to a resounding 2-0 win. The victory left the Capital City giants in position four, level on 31 points with archrivals, Mbabane Highlanders.

Swallows are below Highlanders by virtue of the head-to-head rule applied by the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE. Swallows lost 2-1 to Mbabane Highlanders in the first round on December 17 at Mavuso Sports Centre.
Following his 12th goal of the season, Badenhorst is now joint-top goal scorer with Njabulo Maziya who netted a brace on his debut for his new team Young Buffaloes on Saturday in the 2-1 victory over Moneni Pirates.
Badenhorst picked a cross from Siphosethu Mabilisa and unleashed a thunderbolt which beat Nsingizini Hotspurs goalkeeper Sibusiso Dlamini hands down.
The ‘Birds’ had taken an early lead through defender, Kingsley Kwayki who nodded home a Wonder ‘Samba Jive’ Nhleko well-struck corner kick in the fourth minute.

Nsingizini Hotspurs, who have now gone eight games without a win had a chance to level matters in the 18th minute but striker Mayibongwe Saurez’ Mabuza fired over the bar with goalkeeper Sandanezwe Mathabela at his mercy.
Badenhorst could have added to his 12-goal tally in the 74th minute only to fire agonizingly wide with Nsingizini Hotspurs’ defence in sixes and sevens. Swallows held on to the 2-0 lead to send their travelling fans into raptures.
