His Majesty King Mswati III says people should not be envious of blessings given by God to others. His Majesty was giving a sermon on the 10 commandments during the Easter Service with leaders from different churches at the Ngwabezweni Royal residence.
His Majesty’s guest during the service was Zulu King, King Misuzulu kaZwelithini. His Majesty said when God created people, he gave them the 10 commandments to live by.
Ingwenyama said the message of the day was reminding people of the commandments which should be followed. His Majesty said once a person lost his way and did follow the 10 commandments, they needed to self-introspect to find is find if they are still Christians.

His Majesty said a problem that people had these days was envy.
“When people see something belonging to someone else, they even lose sleep because they are envious,” he said.
His Majesty made an example of the way women wore their traditional attire. He said it became visible if a person was married or not. His Majesty said a married woman must be respected. The King said, however, some people became envious such that they would go to great lengths to remove the woman from her man.
“Envy is very problematic. God says do not envy what belongs to other people. Instead, we should learn to commend other people for what they have instead of being envious,” His Majesty said.
The King said when one commends someone else for their blessings, they are opening the way for God to bless them as well. His Majesty spoke of King David who he said was God-fearing but became envious of another man’s wife.
His Majesty said Kind David peeped through a window yet people used to bathe in rivers or dams and he found himself lusting over Bathsheba who ended up being Solomon’s mother, yet she was a married woman.
His Majesty reminded people to respect their parents and not to kill. The King said the pastors talked about the anointing of kings and said this was a blessing from heaven since everyone has their blessing.
“What is important is that once you are blessed, how do you use it? God can make you a king, pastor, CEO and anything else. The Bible says you should guard your anointing jealously,” His Majesty said.

His Majesty said the Bible said we should not wish bad on other people and if this could be followed, nations around the world could achieve a lot. He said even pastors had a duty to pray for peace and that the presence of God does not leave a country.
The King said a place without God’s presence had so many problems and many things which cause destruction. His Majesty said pastors also had a duty to ensure that there was peace in communities and that everyone who had challenges was assisted.
The King said in previous times, there were no orphans and no one wanted everything as communities worked together.
