Manzini Bus Rank comes alive with the Eswatini Mobile roadshow

The ever-busy Manzini Bus Rank was a beehive of activity on Saturday as Eswatini Mobile hosted its roadshow.

Under the tag ‘Siyabangena’, the event was not only about people winning prizes including brand new cellphones but was also the perfect opportunity for them to learn more about the company’s offerings. 

Eswatini Mobile had set up several stalls where attendees could learn more about the company’s offerings. The products’ education ranged from data plans, their widely celebrated No frills offering and the newly introduced Home Phone Plus (HPP) package that was an instant hit with most consumers due to its affordability.

The company’s representatives were on hand to answer questions and provide demonstrations of how the products were utilised.  The love and support were on clear display as the crowd reacted to different interactions and games offered by the Eswatini Mobile staff.

During the various competitions, people won prizes including t-shirts, airtime and cash. One of the biggest winners of the day was Tanele Dlamini who walked home with E1500 cash after she was handpicked by the MC of the day, poet Msandi Kababa.

The winner was given a chance to choose between picking the box or money. As if she knew that it was her day, she did not pick up the money and insisted on the box. It worked to her advantage as when the box was eventually opened, it carried the E1500 cash prize.

Eswatini Mobile had set up gazebos where customers could learn more about the mobile company and its impact on society. There was also a presentation on Data protection /privacy and why customers should not
acquire a SIM card using another person’s ID. 

This was done in compliance with the Data Protection Act of 2022. These initiatives were aimed at empowering the community and providing them with the tools they need to succeed. Another exciting moment at the Kwaluseni roadshow was the network upgrade announcement. 

Eswatini Mobile revealed that it had invested in upgrading its network infrastructure to provide faster and more reliable services to its customers. Eswatini Mobile’s commitment to changing lives was fully displayed for all to see, with initiatives aimed at empowering the community, future roadshows will provide even more opportunities for people to engage with the company and learn more about its offerings.
