MTN league title race judgement Day on Sunday

By Lwazi Dlamini

The Champions of the 2022/2023 MTN Premier League will be decided on Sunday.

Current log leaders, Green Mamba will face Security Forces rivals, Royal Leopard at Mhlume Stadium while five kilometres down the road, at Tambankulu Stadium, Young Buffaloes, still with a slim chance to win the title, will cross swords with relegated Tambankulu Callies.

Green Mamba, three points clear of second-placed Young Buffaloes, need to avoid defeat against Leopard to be assured of the ‘Holy Grail’ of Eswatini football. The ‘Correctional Services’ side won the first round 2-0 on October 23 at KaLanga Technical Centre where top striker Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa netted a brace in the 31st and 58th minutes.
