The South Africa football mother body is yet to confirm venues for its upcoming series of friendly matches. The two nations will be using the friendly match to prepare for their respective 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers
Sihlangu will face Cameroon, Libya, Angola, Cape Verde and Mauritius in the World Cup qualifiers. Eswatini Football Association Marketing and Communications Officer Muzi Radebe could not be reached for comment.
Attempts were also made to get Sihlangu head Coach Dominic Kunene but his cellphone also rang unanswered. Bafana Bafana enjoy a good record over the nation’s pride having won five of the last six meeting between the two neighbouring nations.
The other encounter ended in a draw. The Dominic Kunene-led outfit will be looking to bounce back to winning ways following their poor run in the 2023 COSAFA Cup.
