HIS Majesty King Mswati III has hailed the remarkable progress observed at the ongoing construction Hlane Roadside Hotel and Executive Hangers at King Mswati III International Airport.
The King’s visit to the sites showcased his commitment to monitoring and supporting the nation’s infrastructural development initiatives firsthand.
At the Hlane site, King Mswati III addressed the dedicated team members of the Construction Associates (CA) led by Inyatsi Executive Chairman Michelo Shakantu.
The King lauded the exceptional efforts of the workers in expediting the project’s completion while maintaining high construction standards.
He expressed his admiration for the swift progress achieved, highlighting the significance of the project in bolstering Eswatini’s tourism sector.
His Majesty emphasized the pivotal role the completed Motel would play in enhancing tourism, providing luxurious accommodation options for tourists, and creating employment opportunities for emaSwati.
The King acknowledged the positive impact of the construction project on job creation, highlighting the potential for further employment opportunities upon its completion.
Furthermore, King Mswati III revealed plans for additional developments in the Hlane area, including malls, parks, and other first-class facilities.

King satisfied with progress of Executive Hangers at airport, currently at 35% completion
His Majesty King Mswati III further commended the impressive advancements witnessed at the ongoing construction of Executive Hangers.

The King’s tour of the site provided an opportunity to witness firsthand the innovative developments taking shape under the purview of esteemed contractors, Inyatsi Construction and Steffanuti Stocks.
During the tour, His Majesty was guided through the intricacies of the project’s blueprints and design by Ministry of Public Works and Transport Principal Secretary Thulani Mkhaliphi who introduced the project contractors and then took the King through the upcoming lavish hangers.
Inyatsi Construction Engineer Bandile Mahlangu provided insights into the state-of-the-art facility, detailing its architectural features and functionality.
His Majesty was informed that the project’s progress currently stands at an impressive 35%, with construction commencing in September 2023 and slated for completion by October 2024.
Expressing his admiration for the project, King Mswati III emphasized the significance of the Executive Hangers in strengthening the airport’s capabilities.
The King applauded the foresight of incorporating facilities for cargo distribution and transportation, foreseeing the creation of more employment opportunities for emaSwati.

His Majesty also blessed Minister Savanna Maziya’s project. The Ministry of ICT is spearheading the construction of a world-class medical university with a 5000-capacity student residence.
The university will house a medical research centre. The department will also lead the construction of a seven-star hotel.
