Eswatini’s very own music star, Lyrikal Busta, made an appearance in a captivating new music video for Lwah Ndlunkulu’s hit single, ‘Maye’.

Released to much fanfare last Friday, the video has already garnered a staggering number of views on YouTube, showcasing the undeniable talent and allure of these two dynamic artists.

In the music video, Lyrikal Busta steps into the role of a passionate young man seeking better opportunities in bustling city life, leaving behind his loving wife.

As he immerses himself in his new surroundings, he becomes enamoured by the allure of the city, ultimately finding himself drawn to other women, even within the confines of his office.

The emotional climax of the video unfolds as his wife embarks on a journey to the city, only to discover him in the company of another woman.

In a recent interview, Lyrikal Busta shared his enthusiasm for the project, recounting how the opportunity to star in the music video came about through a collaboration with an agency that recognized his talent and offered him the pivotal role.

The experience of working alongside the talented team at Slowman Films was a seamless and gratifying one, allowing Lyrikal Busta to bring his character to life compellingly and authentically.

“I am honoured to have been part of this amazing video. Classic song that will be played for decades and still resonates with the people.

Power Lwah Ndlunkulu, Power Mam Buseni, Leroy Khoza, Big Zulu, and Slowman Films,” he remarked.

Expressing his admiration for Lwah Ndlunkulu and her creative vision, Lyrikal Busta highlighted the synergy between their musical styles and shared aspirations.

The alignment of their artistic brands and shared commitment to producing quality music further solidified his excitement for the project and the potential for future collaborations between the two artists.

“I am a fan of Lwah Ndlunkulu and her work. I am inspired by her work ethic. I would like to make music with her as he loves her sound.

It is just about our teams having an understanding and solid agreement,” he said.

Regarding his upcoming music endeavours, Lyrikal Busta teased fans with the announcement of a new project titled ‘Mbabane to Jozi’.
