The late Malome Vector was set to be a key part of Christian Maz’s upcoming One-Man Show, where he was poised to showcase his artistry as one of the supporting acts.

Prominent Lesotho artist, Malome Vector, met an untimely demise in a car accident alongside fellow artist Lizwi Wokucala on Wednesday afternoon. South African actor Nkululeko Shange, the show’s director, expressed profound sadness at the loss of the two superstars.

According to the Free State Department of Health, three men were declared dead at the scene of an accident on the N1 close to the Koppies turn-off near Kroonstad, while two other people, a man and a woman, were transported to Boitumelo Regional Hospital.

“This is a devastating loss for all of us. Their life was cut short. We were just going to confirm him this month end as a supporting act of Christian Maz’s One Man Show,” Shange lamented.

Christian Maz’s show slated for September 28, 2024, at Mbabane Theatre Club, has already confirmed South African songwriter, Mduduzi Ncube, Zamo Cofi, Nomonde Sky and Sisanda as supporting acts.

The theme of the show, ‘Something with Gold,’ reflects Christian Maz’s desire to remind individual of the inherent value and potential within them.

In a recent interview, Christian Maz shared his vision for the event, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and embracing the golden qualities that lie within us all.

“There’s gold within you even when you don’t see it, there still is. So, awaken it until it becomes what it is inside you. You were born with it,” Christian Maz passionately expressed.
