The marathon Supreme Court case between Manzini Wanderers and the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE), among others, has again taken a twist.
The latest is that lawyers representing the PLE, 2nd Respondents in the case, and also Appellants have withdrawn their services as the latter’s Attorneys of Record.
“Be pleased to take notice that MLK Ndlangamandla Attorneys hereby withdraws as Attorneys of Record for the Appellant in these proceedings.

Take notice further that the Appellant must within ten (10) days on receipt of this notice, appoint and notify Respondents and Registrar of this Court of an address they may be served with all processes in these proceedings,” reads the Notice of Withdrawal.
It further states that if the PLE as Appellant fails to appoint an address of service, no documents in this matter need to be served on them.
The latest notice was dropped on Monday as per the date on the court documents.

PLE used Mandla Ndlangamandla in the case that Wanderers won in the High Court and in the Supreme Court, but they have not been reinstated to the elite league.
This is expected to now happen next season when elite teams increase from 14 to 16 as proposed by the PLE.

Wanderers successfully challenged their relegation, and the court verdict essentially meant the axe of Ingwenyama Cup 2025 finalists Moneni Pirates, who are the 4th Respondents in the matter.
There was no immediate comment from the PLE at the time this report was compiled.
