Newly appointed Matsapha Town Council Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sizwe Dlamini has pledged to place customer experience at the centre of his leadership as he begins his tenure at the municipality.

Dlamini committed his first engagement with Council staff at the Matsapha Town Council Depot on Tuesday, where he introduced himself and shared his vision for the future of the municipality.
The CEO was formally introduced by the Corporate Services Manager in the presence of the Executive Management Team and Council employees.

During his address, Dlamini expressed appreciation to the previous leadership for steering the organisation during the period when the municipality did not have an appointed CEO, recognising their dedication and commitment.
He said his administration would focus on ensuring that residents and businesses receive efficient and responsive services, emphasising that customer experience would guide the Council’s decisions and operations.

“Customer experience will be the cornerstone of my leadership. Every decision we make and every service we deliver must put the customer first,” said Dlamini.
The new CEO also called on employees to foster unity, respect and teamwork, noting that differences of opinion should not affect collaboration within the workplace.

“We will have different opinions as we carry out municipal work, but let us not become enemies. Let us work together with patience, mutual respect, a spirit of teamwork, and love for one another,” he said.
