Mhlume Country Club to bring frozen musical magic to Eswatini

Mhlume Country Club is set to transform into a hub of family entertainment and live music on August 22, 2026, with a double-event programme featuring the Princess Frozen Musical Experience during the day, followed by an evening after-party headlined by Ugatsheni Igagu Lasophongola and Mlindo The Vocalist.

The Princess Frozen Musical Experience is scheduled to run from 9 am to 5 pm, promising a winter-themed entertainment experience for families and children.

Speaking to Eswatini Daily News, show manager for both events, Nonhlanhla Zwane, said the idea behind hosting the two events on the same day was to allow families to spend quality time together while also creating a platform for communities, corporates and small businesses to interact.

“We want families to spend more time together. Most of the events we usually host are for adults. Children deserve to have fun too and be entertained.”

Zwane highlighted. Zwane said the event would also bring communities together in a less formal environment while creating opportunities for businesses and local creatives.

“This will also be a great opportunity for communities to get to know each other in a less formal setting, especially if they only meet for work.

We also have corporates selling their products on the day, and we will have Small and medium enterprises with stalls to sell their crafts and products.

We’ll also be working with local artists who will be performing on the day.” Zwane added.

The Frozen experience will feature a live musical production, games and entertainment, with performers including THAIFO-SON and ITSALLBLAQ.

For Zwane, what sets the event apart is that it is being presented as a first of its kind in the Kingdom.

“It is different because this will be a first in the Kingdom; there has never been a Princess Frozen Musical Experience.” She said.

Zwane added that audiences would not simply sit back and watch the production, but would instead become part of the experience.

“This performance is going to be a journey that will keep everyone entertained as scenes are acted out, and everyone will get to sing along and be part of the experience,” Zwane explained.

The organisers have also enlisted the support of local artists Thaifo Son and ItsAllBlaq , who are expected to enhance the entertainment on the day.

“We have support from local artists such as Thaifo Son and ItsAllBlaq, who are loved by the youth and also produce entertainment that is suitable for all ages,” Zwane said.

Safety is also a key priority, particularly because the daytime event is aimed at families and children.

“Our space is very clean and safe; we have security from Royal Eswatini Sugar Corporation along with help from Royal Eswatini Police Services.

So our guests can expect a safe and comfortable experience.” Zwane highlighted.

She added that additional safety measures had been put in place around the venue’s recreational facilities.

“We have lifeguards at the pools and parents can also be stress-free as we have security at the playgrounds too.” She explained.

Tickets for the daytime experience are priced at E100 for General admission and E200 for VIP.

The entertainment will then continue into the evening, with the venue hosting the Mhlume Country Club After Party from 6 pm until late.

The after-party has already unveiled its major acts, with South African artist Ugatsheni and Mlindo The Vocalist announced as part of the entertainment lineup.

Zwane said music lovers attending the after-party can expect a night filled with live entertainment.

“They can expect a great time; Mlindo the vocalist and Gatsheni will definitely be there, alongside Allblaq and Callinda and many more to make sure the music keeps flowing all night and our guests are entertained,” Zwane said.

The after-party is primarily targeting adults and, according to Zwane, will also serve as an opportunity for guests to discover more of what Mhlume Country Club has to offer.

“The after-party is mainly for adults, not only to entertain them but also to familiarise them with the different facilities we have, like the restaurant, swimming pool, outdoor dining, accommodation services and our new beauty spa,” Zwane added.

Tickets for the after-party are priced at E150 for General admission and E300 for VIP.

The organisers have positioned the two events as a full day of entertainment, allowing families to attend the daytime production before the venue transitions into an evening music experience.

The Princess Frozen Musical Experience ends at 5 pm, with the After Party starting at 6 pm.

Zwane said the one-hour gap would be used to prepare the venue for the evening crowd.

“When the Princess Frozen Musical Experience ends, the preparations for the after party start; the grounds will be cleaned to accommodate our guests for the After Party, and gates will open again at 6 pm for the after party,” Zwane explained.

VIP guests at both events can expect additional perks, including dedicated seating and refreshments.

“Our VIPs can expect an amazing seating experience, with a great view of the stage and snacks for both events,” she said.

There are currently no combined tickets for the two events, with guests required to purchase tickets separately.

Tickets for both events are available from outlets including Sdeez Manzini, Galito’s Mbabane, Mhlume Country Club, Mhlume Hostel, Mananga Country Lodge and Tshaneni – Club 5.

The events are being supported by partners including Eswatini Mobile, Instacash, Lidwala Insurance, DStv Eswatini and Galito’s.

With a family-focused musical experience leading into a live music after-party, Mhlume Country Club’s August 22 programme is shaping up as a day-to-night entertainment offering aimed at bringing together families, music lovers and partygoers.

Zwane has urged those planning to attend to secure their tickets early.

“Buy your tickets quickly because they are selling out like hotcakes.

Secure yours at your nearest outlet before it’s too late.”

She said the biggest appeal of the daytime event was the opportunity for families to create memories together.

“Most importantly, families should make the most of this moment, especially to bond with their little ones,” she said.

“You don’t want to miss out on this jam-packed day from the Princess Frozen Musical Experience to the after-party that will bring nothing but vibes and good music all night long,” Zwane added.
