Swazi Plaza Nights, Kiddies Carnival set for end of September

Swazi Plaza is set to usher in the spring season with a weekend of entertainment and family activities when it hosts the next editions of Swazi Plaza Nights and the Kiddies Carnival on September 25 and 26, 2026.

The two-day programme will bring together music, entertainment and children’s activities, with the shopping and entertainment centre promising a lively weekend for members of the public.

Swazi Plaza Nights will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, allowing entertainment lovers to kick-start their weekend with an evening of music and festivities.

The following day, Saturday, September 26, will see the return of the Kiddies Carnival, an event aimed at giving children an opportunity to enjoy themselves as the country moves into the warmer spring season.

Announcing the dates, Swazi Plaza described the upcoming weekend as one of the highlights of the September calendar. “Gear up, Swazi Plaza is springing into action this September and the season’s brightest weekend is on its way,” posted Swazi Plaza.

The Friday night programme, Swazi Plaza Nights, is expected to provide an entertainment-filled evening, with the venue highlighting the combination of music, lights and a lively crowd that has become associated with the event.

“Swazi Plaza Nights – Friday, 25 September. The music, the lights, the crowd that always brings the vibe. Your Friday night is officially sorted,” Swazi Plaza stated.

The event will provide an opportunity for patrons to gather at the plaza and enjoy the evening as part of the centre’s spring activities.

The entertainment will then make way for a more family-oriented atmosphere on Saturday when the Kiddies Carnival returns.

According to Swazi Plaza, the carnival comes after the long winter period and will feature what it described as a “splashy little surprise”.

“Kiddies Carnival – Saturday, 26 September. After a long winter, the Kiddies Carnival is back, with a splashy little surprise. Spring has brought the weather for it and we’ll make sure the kiddies enjoy every minute,” said Swazi Plaza.

The return of the Kiddies Carnival is expected to allow children and families to spend time together in an outdoor entertainment setting as the warmer season begins.

The organisers have encouraged members of the public to spread the word ahead of the two events, signalling their anticipation of a strong turnout across the weekend. “Tell a friend, then tell another, it’s going to be a good weekend,” Swazi Plaza said.

A notable feature of both events is that admission will be free of charge, allowing members of the public to attend without having to pay an entrance fee.

With the two events scheduled back-to-back, the weekend will offer different forms of entertainment, beginning with an evening event for the wider public on Friday before turning its attention to children and families on Saturday.

Swazi Plaza Nights will therefore set the tone for the weekend on September 25, followed by the Kiddies Carnival on September 26 as Swazi Plaza welcomes the spring season with two days of free entertainment.

The events are part of Swazi Plaza’s efforts to provide activities that bring people together at the centre, with the September programme catering for both entertainment seekers and families.

For patrons looking for a Friday night outing, Swazi Plaza Nights will provide an opportunity to enjoy music and the atmosphere at the plaza, while families can look forward to the return of the Kiddies Carnival the following day.
