Uncle Waffles, the sensational music icon hailing from Eswatini, has been considered for two nominations at the prestigious Grammy Awards.
She has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to the music industry and has been considered in two categories, namely, Best Global Music Album for her latest masterpiece, ‘Asylum,’ and Best African Music Performance for her hit song ‘Yahyuppiyah,’ featuring Tony Duardo, Justin 99, Pcee, Eeque, and Chley.
The news of Uncle Waffles’ Grammy consideration for the nominations has sent shockwaves through the music community, with fans and fellow artists alike expressing their excitement and support. Taking to social media, Uncle Waffles shared her joy with a heartfelt post that read, “It’s been an amazing year.
“I’ve played 100+ international shows this year alone, and I’m so grateful for everything that continues to happen in my life. Today marks the 2-year anniversary since my life changed, and I’m in awe at what has happened since.
