Eswatini Miss Cultural Heritage Melinda ‘Mely’ Mavuso is waving at the Miss Culture Global 2024, leading the votes on the competitive leaderboard.
This recognition is not just a personal achievement for the 21-year-old beauty queen but a significant moment for the Kingdom of Eswatini as she prepares to represent her nation on a global stage.
The finals of Miss Culture Global 2024 are set to take place on October 5, 2024, at the Cedar Woods venue in Woodmead, Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa.
The crowning ceremony is anticipated to begin at 6 pm.

As of the latest updates, Mavuso is leading the charge with an impressive 2,090 votes.
Close on her heels are representatives from South Africa, Namibia, Malawi, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe, all vying for the coveted crown.
In a unique voting system designed to engage audiences, votes are available for purchase, with 10 votes costing E50, 30 votes for E100, 50 votes for E150, 100 votes for E200, and 500 votes priced at E500.
In an exclusive interview, Mavuso expressed her exhilaration at leading the voting tally. “It feels so amazing.
It shows how the nation believes in me and how I’m the public’s favourite, giving me hope and energy to take it as I prepare for the competition,” she shared.
Mavuso is not just asking for votes; she is calling on the people of Eswatini to rally behind her in a show of cultural pride.
She urged her fellow citizens to purchase tickets through the Miss Culture Global website, www.miscultureglobal.org.

“It would be nice to walk on the global stage and see emaSwati in numbers and their cultural attires,” she said.
