According to Rueben Msibi, Chairperson of the Eswatini Contractors Association, the first day of the event was dedicated to Pre-tender preparation, a critical phase in the tendering process.
Facilitated by Edward Dlamini, the session on pre-tender preparation covered a range of vital topics, including organisational capabilities, resource requirements, and potential risks that contractors may face when bidding for projects.
Dlamini emphasized the importance of conducting a thorough competitor analysis, understanding market conditions, and profiling clients to tailor bids effectively.

His insights aimed to empower contractors with the tools needed to enhance their competitiveness in the industry.
