They say dynamites come in small packages and they are right. A group of four cool kids has hit the block and they are here to stay. Formerly known as Legendary Music from Nhlangano, Liz Harris, King Baa, Mapson and Zapper are ready to take the music industry by storm through their debut single ‘Mam’khokheli’ which was released yesterday morning on Soundcloud including Datafilehost.
The crew was recently signed by Swazi Groovers Entertainment which is a sub-section of an advertising company known as Africa AD Agency. The agency plays the role of handling the Crews’ Public Relations and other business-related endeavours that affect the artists. Africa AD Agency assists clients in determining the best way to reach their target audience, select the ideal marketing mix and develop effective campaigns.
The album release is to be announced during the listening session, consisting of 17 tracks of which most were written by the crew members. Laurence Lukhele who is the Director at Africa AD Agency and also Khonza Crew’s manager spotted the crew’s uniqueness and was convinced that they would leave a mark in the local music scene.
“Having listened to the album, I can basically say it’s all about love, life, story-telling, recognition and they create amazing music which can represent the country and put us on the map,” said Lukhele. He further went on to confirm that the crew will be having their first ever listening session which is set to take place on November, 10 at a venue yet to be disclosed.
