Babes Wodumo’s dad alleged Mampintsha of “witchcraft practice”

Johannesburg – Reverend Welcome Simelane, the father of Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” Simelane on Monday said Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo is using ‘muthi’, that was once found by his daughter Bongekile under the bed that is like a doll with some strings and muthi.

Simelane continues by stating that his daughter’s actions tell that Mandla is using muthi, she would tell him that he’s leaving Mandla but in 3 days she will be back with him. The above statement was being said by his father on live interview after Simelane live-streamed the incident showing Maphumulo allegedly hitting her repeatedly while the two appeared to be arguing, that has been circulating on social media.

Simelane just didn’t end with this statement, but he went on expressing his feeling on the incident: how he wants Mampintsha to pay for his actions. “My child is being beaten and I know Mandla, I want him to go to jail although he knows that Maphumulo will go and pay the police,” said the angry father.

It’s being said that this is not the first time Maphumulo, of Big Nuz fame, has been accused of abusing Simelane. Last year, it was revealed during an interview on Metro FM that Maphumulo had repeatedly abused the starlet and that she had broken off the relationship. A few months later, the two were reported to be dating again.

Simelane said His daughter was removed from the couple’s Westville home at about 2.30am on Sunday night when the artist’s friends alerted the family to the alleged assault which was beamed live on Instagram on Sunday night.
