Mangololo Eswatini Delivers Petition To UN Resident Coordinator

Mangololo Eswatini today delivered a petition to the UN Resident Coordinator Ms Natalie Ndongo Seh. Mangololo Eswatini define themselves as a movement or group of concerned citizens that stands for peace and unity in Eswatini. The group was led by its Secretary Mr. Gcina Dlamini and they were all wearing blue T-shirts written Hallelujah in front.

During the launch of the organization, Gcina Dlamini explained that Mangololo is not a political party but a movement. They emerged during the unrest to oppose the notion that all emaSwati were against the current Tinkhundla system and the Monarchy. He said the current constitution was developed after extensive national consultations. The constitution was not developed overnight. In the same manner, if there are to be any amendments to the constitution, proper consultations have to be done. He questioned the formations on social media that say Emaswati are demanding change now. He said it was not true that all Emaswati we in support of that agenda.
