The Eswatini Revenue Authority (ERS) Pool Room was the hive of activity on Saturday as the HRCA crowned its Mbabane Zone Teams Knockout champions.
HRCA stands for Hhohho Regional Cuesports Association. Taking the Give Thanks and Magudlu Construction-powered Mbabane Zone Teams Knockout title was Fun Town. They are the champions.
Fun Town beat runners-up Mbabane Pool Club 13-12 to win the title in what was a spectacularly great match.
For their achievement, Fun Town were presented with E3 200 and a trophy. The runners-up did not go home empty-handed but with a cool E2 200.
Before they got this, the two teams had to pass through very tough opposition and close shaves in the semis.
The champions edged past Masters with a 13-11 margin, while MPC had a tight one, winning 13-12 against Magesi.
Their quarter-final matches were quite easy, with FunTown winning 13-8 against City Stars, and MPC doing13-9 over Eagles.
