Uncle Waffles continues to take the world by storm and is now set to take part in one of the world’s most popular music festivals, Coachella.

The Amapiano sensation whose real name is Lungelihle Zwane shared the news on her social media pages.
“Crying, vomiting, screaming, Coachella,” the DJ said on her social media pages, captioning the line-up of the festival which will take place across two weekends: April 14-16 and April 21-23.

Uncle Waffles will perform on the opening weekends of the festival on April 14 and 21. According to Pitchfork, in a rare move, festival co-founder Paul Tollett revealed that Frank Ocean would headline Coachella 2023 after the pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2020 edition, which the singer was scheduled to headline.

According to Wikipedia, The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (commonly called the Coachella Festival or simply Coachella) is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert.

It was co-founded by Tollett and Rick Van Santen in 1999 and is organized by Goldenvoice, a subsidiary of AEG Presents. The event features musical artists from many genres, including rock, pop, indie, hip hop and electronic dance music, as well as art installations and sculptures.
