community-led humanitarian initiatives as the country’s fiscal position improves and budgetary constraints ease.
Speaking on behalf of Her Majesty the Indlovukazi and the government at the Embiveni Biggest Braai on Saturday, the Prime Minister stated that such initiatives play a vital role in complementing national efforts to uplift vulnerable members of society.
The PM said Her Majesty the Queen Mother views the growth of community humanitarian work with pride. 
He noted that what began as small-scale efforts have developed into organised movements that reach people across the country.
He described the Embiveni Biggest Braai as a significant occasion that reflects unity, generosity and compassion.
He urged attendees to take part in the fellowship and festivities, and highlighted the spirit of Nkwe resilience, courage and service to humanity as values demonstrated through the event.
On behalf of the government and Her Majesty the Indlovukazi, the premier thanked all present for their support of the cause.
The Prime Minister extended an invitation to individuals, companies, churches, associations and well-wishers to join existing humanitarian efforts.
He said there remains room for more partners to come on board to expand the reach of community programs and ensure that no one is left behind.
He emphasised that partnerships between the government, the private sector and communities are necessary to address social challenges effectively.
The Prime Minister acknowledged the role of the business community and development partners in supporting humanitarian work.
He specifically mentioned Embiveni Meat Industries and Robertsons Spices, and said many other organisations have contributed resources that continue to strengthen community programs.
“Your partnerships are making a tangible difference in the lives of our people. And for that, His Majesty’s Government is sincerely grateful,” the Prime Minister said.
He stated that private sector support has enabled direct assistance to communities and has helped bridge gaps where public resources are limited.
Addressing the issue of state support, the PM said that as the fiscal position improves, the government will continue to explore ways of supporting initiatives of this nature within available resources.
He noted that community organisations complement government programs aimed at social protection, poverty alleviation and welfare.
He added that collaboration remains key to ensuring services reach vulnerable populations.
