Eswatini welcomes 58 Christmas babies

At least 58 babies were born between midnight and 8 pm this Christmas. This is according to the Minister of Health Lizzie Nkosi.

RFM delivered the most babies with 20, followed by Mbabane Government Hospital with 10 and Good Shepherd Hospital with 7.

Others are Pigg’s Peak and Hlatikulu Government Hospitals (4 each), Mankayane Government Hospital, Sithobela and Dvokolwako Health Centres (3 each), Nhlangano Health Centre (2), Matsanjeni Health Centre and a private hospital (1 each).

Of these, 27 are girls and 31 are boys. The new mothers were showered with disposable diapers by the minister.
