Sibebe Resort Director Isaac Magagula has urged Mdzimba League teams to produce top football stars.
He made the statement during the Sibebe Resort Knockout Tournament prize presentation held on Saturday evening.
“I am happy with the proceedings of the tournament. This tournament should be a breeding ground for top talent that will emerge into top leagues such as the MTN Premier League and other top leagues. 
We urge teams to continue working hard and applaud the smooth running of the games,” he said.
The local businessman further pledged continued support for the annual knockout tournament.
“We will continue supporting this tournament as a way of giving back to the community,” he said.
Meanwhile, Hhohho Regional Football Association Chairman Comfort Shongwe thanked the sponsor for the kind gesture.
“We are grateful for the support of the sponsor, which plays a key role in the development of the sport in the region.
We urge teams to continue conducting themselves well for many years to come,” he said.
The E70 000 sponsored knockout tournament saw Apocalypto walk away with E10,000 first prize money.
The team also sealed promotion to the Hhohho Super League Southern Zone via the promotion playoffs.
