The Mlawula Campfire Festival is gearing up for its sixth spectacular edition.

Promising an unforgettable weekend of music, nature, and community spirit from September 26 to 28, 2025.

Set within the breathtaking Mlawula Nature Reserve at the Siphiso Campsite, this festival has become a beloved annual event, drawing outdoor enthusiasts and families eager to immerse themselves in the beauty and tranquility of Eswatini’s wilderness.

A standout highlight for this year’s festival is the much-anticipated appearance of South African sensation Supta. Recognised as a dynamic DJ, producer, radio personality, and entrepreneur, Supta brings a multifaceted talent that resonates with diverse audiences.

His daily presence on YFM’s “The A-List,” co-hosted with the engaging Tshepi Mabulana, has cemented his status as a household name in the South African music scene. Notably, the event has also confirmed Eswatini’s DJ Obsession.

The festival’s unique charm lies in its seamless blend of adventure, entertainment, and cultural enrichment, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Mlawula Nature Reserve.

This year, organisers have expanded the program to deepen the festival’s engagement with nature and community, ensuring something for everyone.

Adventure seekers will relish the invigorating hikes led by local experts through the reserve’s lush landscapes.

These guided treks provide a rare opportunity to explore the rich biodiversity of the area, from its vibrant flora to the diverse fauna that inhabit the reserve.

Beyond physical experience, these hikes serve an educational purpose, raising awareness about conservation efforts vital to preserving this natural treasure.

For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, the festival offers yoga and aerobics sessions amidst the serene environment of the reserve.

These wellness activities are designed to help participants unwind, recharge, and foster a deeper connection with the natural world around them. Cultural enthusiasts will find plenty to engage with through a variety of workshops and demonstrations.

These sessions highlight local crafts, traditional cuisine, and cultural practices, offering a platform for attendees to appreciate and engage with Eswatini’s rich heritage.

Adding to the festival’s vibrant entertainment lineup is a comedy night featuring some of Africa’s most beloved comedians. The event will showcase the talents of Siyanda Maphumulo and Monkey Man, alongside Eswatini’s stars Christian Dude, Bongiswa & Darren, and the dynamic duo Gogo & S’lwane.
