‘RUBBER’ TAKES ‘BULL’ TO COURT
The Mbabane Highlanders AM FC saga is not over just yet. Legal owner of Highlanders AM FC, Chief Ally Kgomongwe appeared to have weathered the storm most recently by coming out to endorse her fellow South African businesswoman Shauwn ‘MaMkhize’ Mkhize as the new team boss.
However, the then-interim director, Bheki ‘Rubber’ Simelane has gone ahead with seeking compensation from the team’s patrons in court.
Interestingly, among the respondents is the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) which recently came up with a Tribunal to hear such football cases, as opposed to having them go to court.
The next question is, will the court hear the matter tomorrow or will the EFA have the court return it to football structures Tomorrow is the day the matter has been scheduled to hit the High Court.
Also, the team’s legal owner, Kgomongwe is not in Simelane’s court papers as one of the Respondents yet he remains the legitimate Highlanders AM FC company owner, also in constant contact with the patrons.
This is one case to follow.
