Kaizer Chiefs have continued their good form in the Betway Premiership League as on Tuesday they won a third game in a row while keeping a third clean sheet as well.
After the game assistant coach Khalil Ben Youssef said that as a team they have their own target inside the team on where they want to finish in the first half of the season and it’s known in the dressing room.
Addressing the media at the FNB Stadium in a post match press conference Youssef said that though they have targets they are not under pressure but they are playing to win the league.
“We have our target inside. Its inside the team between the players and the technical staff. And it’s discussed in in our meetings in the dressing room you can ask about it. We know what we have to do and we keep it between us.
We take every game, game by game. We don’t think about anything. We don’t have any pressure. For sure Kaizer Chiefs is the biggest club in South Africa. We play in the league. We play to win the league,” Youssef told journalists.

Meanwhile the club introduced their three new signing in Asanele Velebayi, Luke Baartman and Etiosa Ighodaro to the supporters at half time and coach Youssef said they saw the quality of the players but they have to fight for their positions in the team.
“I think we saw the quality of these players. We need these players to help us in the team but for them they come to fight for their positions. Positions at Kaizer Chiefs are difficult. Its very tough to be in this team.
The mentality of the of these players they need to fight to get their positions and to help the team. And now we have players who are performing well so they have to fight to get their positions, ” the coach observed.
Apart from these three Amakhosi have also signed former Orlando Pirates duo of Thabiso Monyane and Paseka Mako, Nkanyiso Shinga, Ethan Chislett, Sphesihle Ndlovu and Flavio Silva.
