After refusing to sign for Mbabane Highlanders AM FC two of the players have currently signed for Highlanders rivals Moneni Pirates and could be ready to play on the 8Bet Trade Fair Cup.
News reaching Eswatini Daily News is that captain Thando Landa and goalkeeper Ciniso Nyawo have joined Moneni Pirates for the season ahead.

The information from the EFA which is available to Eswatini Daily News indicates that Thando Langa has already been cleared to the Moneni side.
“Dear Moneni Pirates. Mbabane Highlanders FC has approved the player transfer as detailed below. You can now continue with the transfer or cancel the request,” reads part of the communication from EFA.
Meanwhile a source very close to Moneni Pirates further confirmed to Eswatini Daily News about the acquisition of the two players who were until recently with Highlanders in Pietermaritzburg, KZN, South Africa and refused to sign for the Shauwn MaMkhize Mkhize owned side.
“Both players have signed for Pirates. Its the goalkeeper Ciniso Nyawo and that Langa boy, Thando. The captain. Its a done deal. Thando has already been cleared by the system to Moneni Pirates the one I haven’t seen yet is that one for Nyawo. But I can tell you in confidence now there is nowhere, where there will be a problem or any case. I am not giving you an official statement but its official. I hope you understand what I mean. What I know is that Nyawo is already training with us. You know the Moneni Pirates coach Meke Mwase knows the players very well having worked with them at Highlanders and he recommended them to be signed and that’s why the team moved swiftly to bring them on board,” the source told Eswatini Daily News.
Eswatini Daily News contacted Moneni Pirates PRO Sluga Simelane who confirmed the talks between the players and the club.

“At the moment I can confirm that there are talks between all the involved parties including the players and if all goes well everything will be finalised before the end of today (Friday) and that means they could play in the Trade Fair as well, ” Simelane concluded.
If all goes well the two players are expected to feature for Moneni Pirates during the 8bet Trade Fair Cup.
