Preliminary Bafana Bafana squad for Rwanda and Zimbabwe games

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has named his preliminary squad for next month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe and Rwanda.

The list, released by SAFA, includes a strong contingent of Mamelodi Sundowns players, with captain Ronwen Williams, Khuliso Mudau, Teboho Mokoena, Aubrey Modiba, Bathusi Aubaas, Thapelo Morena and Iqraam Rayners all featuring.

Orlando Pirates are also well represented with the likes of Relebohile Mofokeng, Patrick Maswanganyi, Evidence Makgopa, Sipho Mbule and Nkosinathi Sibisi among those called up.

Kaizer Chiefs have just two representatives in defender Thabiso Monyane and forward Mduduzi Shabalala, while Stellenbosch FC continue to see their stars rewarded with selections for Ashley Cupido, Devin Titus and Thabo Moloisane.
